Steps to utilize SEO and Organic Building?

SEO also known as Search Engine Optimisation, is a cornerstone for online marketing.

Basically, what it does is that they increase the quantity of traffic flow towards the user’s website.

With online marketing becoming more prominent, learning SEO and organic marketing techniques is essential to navigate

So what does this mean In terms of marketing?

As mentioned above, SEO helps to promote the search engine for the website.

Search engines are often the encyclopedia for people’s questions. The function often skims through numerous results, reviewing and gauging the most relevant results closest to the user’s search topic.

And this where one of the marketing strategies comes in play: Organic marketing.

Organic marketing strategy refers to unpaid advertising or marketing, generating website traffic naturally over time, which is deemed to be cost-effective and promising long term results by establishing brand reputation and awareness. EG: Blog, social media platform posts (As long they are not paid or boosted).

SEO and organic marketing strategy works well, as it helps to highlight the key tags and phrases searched by the users. For example: I type in “Best pizza in Melbourne”, a list of pizza restaurants and location will pop up in the results. In addition, there is also a suggestion of which pizza place is the closest to you! This in turn helps drive traffic towards the website, regardless of demographic, increasing chances of being the front page top results through popularity by clicks.

To reiterate the point, both components do compliment each other, only if the adjustment is rightly done. Is important they produce traffic because the majority of results are driven by search engines. In addition, Organic posts look more credible and likely to be clicked by users. Sure, the starting phase might start off slow, but the goal of organic marketing is to accumulate enough content, where you can build upon and improve the post time after time. This in turn will create a high ROI (return of investment) for branding.

So how do you leverage both marketing aspects and functionality?

There are few steps that plant a healthy organic flow in SEO:

#1 Using prominent keywords

It all starts with a simple “what”, “when”, “why”. Questions are what drive conversations and keep it going.

Simple dialogue yet it works.

For example, Google Trends is a good experimental ground for keywords and gathering keyword/buzzword data. If you want to know what people usually search, try entering a search term of topic on the bar.

Already, you can see that it picks the top 5 results of the topic along with popularity ratings sparsely between the months:

Now, with those keywords, you are able to compel a multiple list of SEO that can assist in your tag list and research when it comes to search patterns.

But, don’t forget that, each phrase and keywords tag on the content has to be high quality and address their issues.

#2: Titles makes the winner

Everyday, there are millions of web page titles that are competing for the front line and most are aiming for the top.

Headlines are so important for capturing audiences. It is tempting to craft and make your content attractive (organic marketing here!), but what the audience sees first is important.

Databox concludes that 36% of SEO experts find that headlines are often the last thought for SEO makers.

Following the Pareto Principle rules, 80% will definitely look at the headlines instead of 20% that read the content. By drawing more individuals through headline, there’s a higher chance of creating an organic natural traffic flow.

#3: Investigate, collect data and then piece it together!

Even the above statement prioritizes headlines a bit more, but content is also equally important! This is where your organic planting will come to fruition when it’s well-nurtured. The secret of writing successful content, is to make sure it is your own niche and uniqueness.

First thing, writing the topic from your own perspective, not others. What I mean by that, is trying to find a page that hasn’t been stained on.

Example, the topic would be ‘Build a car’. This topic has been rephrased, rewritten and reposted many times, but the topic is still seemingly able to be conducted in a fresh manner.

Instead of writing blindly, go beyond and research empirical data. Primary collection also helps since existing materials is a starting point for inspiration and ideas. When writing, don’t try to consider what your competitors are writing. Focus on yours, as you can still expand and add flair to your contents.

The take of this point is that, research, study the trend and statistics of each topic and demographics of the audience you wish to capture. By doing so, your content will be engaging (alongside with some concrete evidence) with knowledge behind it.
